Walden School Speech & Language Pathologist
I am celebrating my ten year anniversary at Walden School this fall! I am the speech-language pathologist. An SLP diagnoses and treats speech and/or language disorders. In a day I might work with someone who stutters, has a language delay, articulation disorder, or voice disorder. I am in Walden School Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday.
I also act as host of the Walden Book Group which meets every Wed. at noon. Children in grades 6-8 volunteer their lunch and recess time to discuss the book we are currently reading. Presently there are thirteen students participating in this activity.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening (flower and vegetable), cooking, reading, kayaking, and snowshoeing. My husband, three children, and I live in Waterford. I am a volunteer firefighter, EMT-B, and serve on the Board of Directors for the Davies Memorial Library.
