Language Arts & Social Studies
This is my fifth year teaching at Walden Middle School. I teach Social Studies, Language Arts, and spearhead the Advisory Program within our middle school. Students have the opportunity to shine in areas of social, emotional, physical, and academic growth as they embrace middle school and transition into young adolescents. We strongly believe in promoting self-advocacy and healthy choices for all students and instill these values at an early age. The Advisory Program is one of our strongest links to middle school level success. Advisory meets three times a week, with a focus of organization, theme-based initiatives and service learning activities.
I love to snowboard, play soccer, practice yoga, and spend quality time with my husband Adam. I hope to travel to Europe in the future and integrate my travel experience into the curriculum. |

Math and Science
I am an Environmental Scientist by degree at the University of Vermont. I decided to become a teacher 5 years ago to share my passion for science and math with adolescents, my favorite age to work with. They are fun, funny and beginning to blossom.
I enjoy spending time with my son, telemark skiing, mountain biking, running, cross country skiing,yoga and gardening/landscaping.
